The Ceredigion Light Orchestra is a volunteer, non-profit organisation, which provides its members with an opportunity to perform light orchestral concert music for enjoyment, and develop their musical skills in a friendly atmosphere. The Orchestra will provide both cultural and historic enrichment in the community by inspiring and entertaining its audience.

Based in the Memorial Hall, New Quay, the Orchestra is being formed to provide quality musical support to local projects, and will give performances in its own right.

Players are invited to join, be they professional musicians, music students or experienced amateurs - they will all be making a valuable contribution to charitable causes, giving their time and talent for the love and promotion of music. The Orchestra will meet for regular rehearsals, and will cover a wide diversity of music from classical to music from the shows.

The local community can also play a part in supporting their Orchestra - by donation, by sponsorship, by advertising on this web site, or by joining the "Friends of Ceredigion Light Orchestra".
